Mitigating risks in the supply chain

Business Connect

Event details

  • March 24, 2023
  • 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Supply Chain shortages became one of the major contributors to the failure of small businesses meeting contract requirements to deliver goods and services. Since then rising interest rates, labour shortages and cost of materials have further inhibited supply chain delivery.

In this workshop, participants will build their capacity to demonstrate their strengths to deliver contract requirements.

Resources and tools will be provided to:

1. Map their supply chain
2. Identify and evaluate risks
3. Introduce changes to reduce and eliminate risks
4. Identify risks early enough to put preventative measures in place
5. Stand out from their competitors

This workshop will be presented by Luke McIlroy-Ranga

Luke is a trusted strategist within Australasian and North American markets, Luke has advised on supplier diversity and economic inclusion at all levels of government. He has spearheaded several impact ventures, and led the reshaping of traditional policy and practice within the private sector, to aid in solving some of society’s toughest social and environmental issues.

After a decade within financial services, Luke co-founded a global Indigenous procurement consultancy in 2015, and more recently has divided his time between working within some of Australia’s most remote communities to establish grass-roots economic models, and travelling regularly as an academic within the fields of social enterprise and ethical business.

This workshop is limited to 20 attendees.
