The NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (NSWICC) is the Peak body for Aboriginal Business in NSW and a powerful voice for the needs of Aboriginal Entrepreneurs, Business owners and Enterprising Communities. Our Vision is for a State that embraces its rich Aboriginal History and Culture; And values Aboriginal Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Enterprise as an important pillar in a strong New South Wales Economy. Together, with our Strategic Alliances and Partners we work with Aboriginal Entrepreneurs, Business Owners and Enterprising Communities to develop and accelerate their Business Goals by building skills and developing capacity, removing barriers and, identifying and facilitating opportunities. The NSWICC is a non-Government, not for profit organisation whose biggest asset is our expertise and partner value proposition. Over the next 3 years we will leverage our unique position and expertise to create a self-sustaining chamber model that ignites the Entrepreneurial spirit of Aboriginal people, accelerates Aboriginal business and employment growth and, facilitates relationships and networks that enable sustained economic and social inclusion.
Business Connect Program
NSWICC Procurement Specialist Advisors provide confidential, independent business advice and skills training for all small and medium businesses across NSW as part of the NSW Government’s Business Connect program.
Business Connect is a dedicated and personalised NSW Government program that provides trusted advice to help you start, run, adapt, or grow your business.
You can access free support with one of our specialists to discuss how to grow your business by winning contracts to supply goods and services to clients in your industry or to the NSW Government
To become a part of the Business Connect program:
Head to the Business Connect portal to register;
Select the tab Find An Advisor;
Once redirected, select Specialist Advisors,
Go to the dropdown menu “Select an Industry:” and choose “Procurement“, or;
Look for the advisors with ‘Procurement’ under their name.
Select Find Out More on each advisor to choose the best suited to your current business needs.
Once you have chosen an advisor, click the Book Now button.
Once the registration has been received, you will be contacted to make an appointment at a time suitable for you.
