Aboriginal Tender Support Services
Transport for NSW (TfNSW) has engaged the NSWICC to assist Aboriginal businesses in meeting State Government procurement requirements and enable businesses to develop quality tender responses to join TfNSW’s construction prequalification panels or schemes.
Workshops and specialist support is being conducted for applicable construction categories during January-May 2024.
Prequalification Categories:
Indigenous contractors and subcontractors wishing to apply for prequalification in one or more of the below mentioned categories are encouraged to apply:
- Roadworks
- Bridgeworks
- Concrete Paving (Machine Placed)
- Asphalt Paving (Machine Placed)
- Pretensioned Concrete
- Steel Fabrication
- Protective Treatment (Field)
- Traffic Signals
This includes Indigenous contractors and subcontractors with the capability to carry out the following types of services:
- Drainage
- Earthworks
- Formwork
- Traffic control
- Construction laboratories
- Erosion, sedimentation and soil conservation consultancy
- Fabrication of minor steel items
- Urban design
- Demolition
- Stabilisation
