Deb is an Indigenous procurement and economic development specialist with decades of experience supporting Aboriginal businesses across Australia. As Chair of the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce and Founder of Winya Indigenous Furniture, she has led national efforts to embed Aboriginal leadership in procurement policy and practice. Deb works closely with government and industry to shape inclusive purchasing frameworks, and create opportunities for Indigenous entrepreneurs. Her advocacy and strategic insight have earned her national and international recognition. Deb’s work empowers communities and strengthens Australia’s economy through Indigenous-led growth.

Shivendra has helped many small business owners start, grow, adapt, and run their businesses, with specific expertise in construction and infrastructure sectors. Working with the NSW Procurement Specialists team, Shivendra helps owners and leaders of businesses obtain clarity and simplify the complex world of business development and selling to government. Shivendra holds a PhD and is the author of multiple supplier education programs, and regularly has content published in the media. He has developed a podcast series and is a highly experienced procurement advisor to executives and boards of larger entities. Shivendra is also a member of the Western Sydney Procurement Steering Committee.

Mette Nordling is a governance and procurement specialist with over a decade of experience working across local and  state government where she has researched, drafted, and implemented procurement policies at the local government level, introducing Indigenous and social procurement outcomes. Mette has developed evaluation criteria and supplier engagement strategies that support inclusive procurement practices, particularly in regional and remote communities. She has delivered training and supplier information sessions, helping local governments and Indigenous businesses build stronger procurement relationships.

Rochelle has over 20 years’ experience in procurement, probity assurance and consultancy, working with numerous NSW government agencies and local councils including RMS, Transport for NSW, Office of Sport, Venues NSW, the Department of Education, and Hornsby, Northern Beaches, Bayside and Randwick Councils. She has extensive expertise in the NSW Government Procurement Framework and tendering processes, and provides practical advice on probity matters, including ICAC guidance on direct negotiations. Previously Chief Procurement Officer at Roads and Maritime Services, Rochelle is recognised as a leading procurement specialist across NSW state and local government, delivering guidance and support to a wide range of agencies.

Susan is a Gurindji Woolwonga woman from the Northern Territory with extensive experience working with First Nations communities locally, regionally, and nationally. Susan has held senior roles including Producer, Director, and Executive Producer at ABC’s Indigenous Programs Unit, and Head of Production at NITV, SBS. Susan provides cultural competency and immersion sessions, social planning support, and RAP guidance to mainstream organisations and communities. She founded the Gaimaragal Group to drive social change, amplify the voices of Elders, empower youth, and deliver two-way cultural translation that connects communities and individuals.
