T-2026-1820 - Quantity Surveying Services Panel
The City of Sydney (‘the City’) invites Requests for Tender for the carrying out of Quantity Surveying Services (‘Services’) on a standing offer basis for the City’s construction projects in accordance with this request.
The purpose of this Request for Tender (‘RFT’) is to appoint Quantity Surveyors (‘Consultants’) under separate standing offer deeds, to provide Services to the City on an as-needed basis for any construction projects nominated by the City (in its absolute discretion) during a 3-year term. The City may wish to exercise an option to extend the term of the contract by an additional 1-year term.
The City is responsible for delivering a range of construction projects including community buildings, open spaces, parks, streetscapes, roads, cycleways, footpaths, property-related projects, and other public domain functions. These projects may include but are not limited to the indicative pipeline of projects referred to in Appendix A this RFT.
The City may accept one or more tenderers to provide Services under the standing offer deed arrangements. Should this occur, the maximum number of Consultants would be limited to three. Each Consultant appointed to provide Services to the City will enter into a separate standing offer deed with the City.
Notes:
- Any proposed contract amendments need to be submitted no later than 10 business days prior to the Closing Date of the RFT for consideration by the City. Sub-contractor exclusions, assumptions and qualifications will not be accepted, refer to Part C – Schedule C for further information.
- Any request for information must be requested in the Tenderlink Forum prior to the Request for Information Closing Date. The City reserves the right not to respond to Requests for Information submitted after this date. Respondents should ensure any Requests for Information are submitted before the nominated deadline.

T-2026-1785 - Sydney Town Hall Show Communications
Centennial Hall at Sydney Town Hall hosts a diverse range of events, performances, and productions delivered by a broad spectrum of hirers. The show communications system is a critical element of the venue's technical infrastructure and is used during virtually every event conducted within Centennial Hall.
This project will replace the existing show communications system with a contemporary, integrated communications solution that meets both current operational requirements and future venue needs. The new system must provide increased capacity,
enhanced functionality, greater flexibility, and improved overall performance compared with the existing installation.
In addition, the proposed solution must deliver improved wireless coverage and expanded operational capabilities while supporting the reconfiguration of communications resources for specialised events, performances, and productions in different areas of the venue as required.
The existing communications infrastructure consists of:

A Clear-Com HelixNet wired communications system, including beltpacks and fixed stations
- A Clear-Com FreeSpeak II wireless communications system.
These systems currently provide the primary communications platform for technical operators, production staff, and event personnel working within Centennial Hall.
The replacement system must provide a unified and scalable communications platform that enhances reliability, usability, and operational efficiency while supporting the diverse technical and production requirements of venue hirers.

The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites Expressions of Interest for two Services: Food Organics Processing Service, and Garden Organics Processing Service
The Services will both commence on 1 July 2028.
Respondents may submit an Expression of Interest response for one or both Services in the manner required by this document.
Garden Organics Processing Service is the receipt and processing of garden organics delivered by City staff or the City’s collection service provider.
Food Organics Processing Service is the receipt and processing of garden organics delivered by City staff or the City’s collection service provider.

The City of Sydney has a diverse and complex property portfolio which consists of over 300 buildings currently valued at over approximately $AUD2.7 billion, including operational, community and commercial facilities; depots; corporate and commercial space, aquatic centres, public domain leases; and investment properties in commercial and retail assets. The City Property Portfolio is clearly defined between Commercial, Community, and Operational properties.
The Commercial portfolio comprises those properties which are primarily held to provide revenue for the City and to support the strategic objectives of the City (e.g. the investment properties and strategic properties).
The Community and Operational portfolio comprise those properties held to support the functions of the City (e.g. the corporate real estate and community properties).

Proposed Contract
The proposed Contract is a services agreement. The Contract will be an initial term of 4 years with 3 two-year extension options; and with a transition-in period prior to services commencement. Contract extensions after the initial term will be at the City’s discretion.
Project Objectives:
The City’s objectives for the Facilities Management Services in this Request for Tender are to:

achieve value for money in the delivery of the Facilities Management Services;

ensure that the City’s property assets meet the highest standards of statutory compliance and health and safety standards;

ensure that the City receives the highest standard of service delivery and customer satisfaction in the delivery of the Facilities Management Services;

ensure the maintenance of the assets support the operations of the City;
-
ensure the City receives efficient and effective Facilities Management Services that optimises the allocation of the City’s financial resources;
-
work in partnership with all service providers to the City to deliver a proactive management of the City’s assets;and
-
ensure that the City has accurate up-to-date and analysable data to support the management of its property and facilities assets and provide the ability for the City to forecast its operational and capital expenditures.

The City of Sydney’s community facilities include different buildings and spaces that vary in size, location and function. Under our Accommodation Grants Program, we lease spaces for up to 5 years at reduced rates (below market rental rates) or at no charge. We may offer some longer tenancies based on operational and community needs and public interest. Tenancies are informed by the strategic priorities reviewed and set by Council every 4 years. This funding program supports a strong and sustainable local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community- controlled sector to that meet the needs and aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the local area. Funding supports increased self-determination and equity led by, or in partnership with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through projects that connect people with community, country and culture.
