As part of National Reconciliation Week 2026, NSWICC was proud to join our valued NSWICC Partner, Sydney Water, for a powerful event at their Parramatta Square headquarters.
Bringing together the Sydney Water community, partners, and allies, the event focused on this year's theme — All In — and what it means to commit to meaningful, long-term change for First Nations peoples.
A Powerful Panel Discussion
The event featured a rich, honest, and deeply inspiring panel discussion that explored the importance of collaboration, cultural understanding, and creating genuine pathways that uplift Indigenous peoples across industry and community.
The panel was facilitated by Darren Cleary, Managing Director of Sydney Water, and featured:
- Josiah Younes - Business Development Manager, NSWICC
- Joshua MacLeod - Head of Operations, Engineering Aid Australia
- Vicki Norton - Partnerships Manager, Jawun
The conversation highlighted the critical role that large organisations like Sydney Water play in driving economic empowerment and supplier diversity, and how genuine partnerships with Indigenous organisations can create lasting impact.
Going 'All In' for Reconciliation
With 60 people attending in person and over 400 joining online, the incredible turnout demonstrated a strong commitment from Sydney Water's staff and partner network to engage with reconciliation in action.
Reconciliation is everyone's responsibility, and this year's theme serves as a powerful reminder that progress only happens when we are all actively involved.
NSWICC has been a proud partner of Sydney Water for the past three years. Events like this reinforce what is possible when organisations commit to walking alongside First Nations peoples with genuine intent and purpose.
